A CHARITY motor show has raised an impressive €16,000 for two worthy causes, with the proceeds being split between Donegal Hospice and Foyle Hospice.

The money will now be divided equally with each organisation receiving €8,000.

Organisers said they were "absolutely blown away" by the total amount raised and extended thanks to everyone who made the show a huge success.

"The total will be split equally between two very deserving causes, a spokesperson said.

"To everyone who brought a truck, car or vehicle, our sponsors, volunteers, traders, spectators, supporters and every single person who donated - thank you.

"That’s what can happen when a community comes together.
